Why Homeschool?
I know. When you think of homeschooling the first thing that comes to mind is unschooling. Maybe you see montessori, or extreme schedules focused on various subjects, mid-day lunch, or even learn by play. But did you know there is no exact way to homeschool? I’m sure youve seen various methods online or in the community. But those are just general set ups. Homeschooling is really based on educating your child. it may be a literacy and nature based educational system, like us. Or it could be desks and a the tradional blackbord. You could even choose to reject the traditional method all together and unschool. The most important thing is that you educate your child in a way they will be able to understand the world around them! Home education can also be done in families where children are going to school in the private and public sectures. How? By remebering that you are your childs first teacher! YES! you are your childrens first educator. learning starts at home.
